This week's Glentoran Gazette is a double issue to incorporate the Danske Bank Premiership clash with Ballymena United and Tuesday's Co Antrim Shield quarter final tie with Cliftonville.
In it, Eddie Patterson says the team must 'get back to basics' after 'letting themselves and the fans down' in the last two games against Crusaders and Cliftonville. Skipper Elliott Morris echoes that belief and feels they 'owe the fans a performance' but felt it important not to 'dwell too much on the results'.
Glentoran and Ballymena United will both be looking to bounce back after two consecutive set backs in the Danske Bank Premiership.
Glentoran Seconds netted a late winner against Linfield Swifts tonight at the Oval to grab a 3-2 victory in the NIFL Reserve League.
The Glentoran Superstore will be closed this week. It will reopen on Saturday 21st September at 1:45pm, ahead of our Danske Bank Premiership game against Ballymena United.
Glentoran Seconds will travel to face Crumlin Star in round 4 of this season's Steel & Sons Cup. The Seconds, with wins against Sirocco Works (3-1) and St. Patrick's YM (3-0) already this season, will play their next fixture in the competition on Saturday 28th September.
