Our aim is to keep our supporters updated on various projects in and around the Oval. We are sure that many fans have witnessed the machinery, equipment and work crews on site over the previous weeks.
As with every close season, various projects have been completed or are ongoing in order to meet the requirements of our annual Safety Certificate.
With each passing year it becomes increasingly demanding and expensive to maintain the Oval due to the age and condition of the structures.
For this reason, we made the decision to delay our open-days and home friendlies during this period to allow speedy completion of the necessary works.
We must give credit to our staff, volunteers and supportive contractors who have been working tirelessly to have the Oval ready for the season.
This again highlights the need that Glentoran FC has for the Sub Regional funds to be secured and released in the coming months.
We look forward to having our loyal fans back in their droves in the coming weeks.
