Pre-season schedule and pricing

Dates and pricing for our 4 pre-season fixtures at the Oval are as follows:


Tuesday 15th July 2014


Glentoran v East Belfast (7:30pm)


Season Ticket holders are free.


Entrance is £5.


Children (under 11) accompanied by an adult are free. Unaccompanied £3.


Monday 21st July 2014


Glentoran v Derry City (7:30pm)


Season Ticket holders are free.


Entrance is £8.

Loughgall 3 - 3 Glentoran

The first pre-season friendly for the Glens, against Loughgall, ended in a 3 - 3 draw. Loughgall took an early 2-0 lead with the Glens equalising shortly after with goals by Fra McCaffery and David Scullion meaning that both teams were level on half time. The Glens went ahead in the second half through Danny McKee but couldn’t hold on as Loughgall equalised late on. Full time 3 – 3.

Glentoran FC Board Restructure

Simon Kitchen has been co-opted onto the board of Glentoran as commercial director with immediate effect. Simon brings a wealth of commercial experience from his career to date and will be tasked with being responsible for all commercial activity at the club, from dealing with kit suppliers, advertising internally and externally across all media platforms, to hot food vendors and much more. He will also be tasked with forming a 'Commercial Team' comprising of willing volunteers from across our supporter base. We wish him every success in the role.

Under 13's Travelling To Berlin!

Today week will see our Under 13s make the trip to Germany, becoming the first Glentoran team to play competitively in the German capital of Berlin in 100 years. Not since that now legendry European foray to win the Vienna Cup have Glentoran played a competitive match in the famous city, against Hertha Berlin, when Emerson, Scraggs, Lyner and co played a warm up friendly before the Vienna Cup success.
