This week's Gazette

Fri, 04/10/2013 - 15:45

This week's Glentoran Gazette has your usual mix of past present and future.

Looking back, our archives feature from Eddy Patrick focuses on Chris Morgan and it's no surprise what he's talking about. Our 'World Class' series from Jake Proctor features Tottenham and Argentina legend Ossie Ardiles while Philip Stevenson's ongoing series on Glentoran goalkeepers is, this week, looking at 70s hero Denis Matthews.

On more up-to-date matters Eddie Patterson and Elliott Morris give their views, while Jay Magee is the focus in this edition's big interview by Sam Braik.

Sat, 28/09/2013 - 19:00

Glentoran travelled to Portadown following two defeats and a draw in their last three Danske Bank Premiership outings. It was, as usual, a feisty affair with both sides showing a lot of determination and effort but without any end product in an evenly contested first half. Braniff and McMahon had chances for the home team but Glentoran’s skipper, Elliott Morris wasn’t really tested during the first 45 minutes.
