Glens search for momentum against Dungannon

Mon, 04/02/2013 - 16:07

After Saturday's brilliant 1-0 win at Shamrock Park against Portadown, Glentoran will be searching for momentum as we face Dungannon Swifts in a re-arranged game at The Oval on Tuesday night. Following Saturday's result, Glentoran have opened up a gap in the top 6 with Portadown falling 4 points behind us. The result also paves the way for a surge for the European positions as we look to overtake Coleraine and Ballinamallard around us.

Glens travel to Shamrock Park

Fri, 01/02/2013 - 23:01

Due to January's poor weather, Glentoran have had limited games in the last few weeks. Games against Dungannon and Glenavon have been called off however this may not have been the worst thing for Eddie Patterson's side. With no fewer than 9 injuries in our last game against Ballymena Utd at The Oval, it was clear that the squad were struggling to deal with a difficult period.
