This weekend it's matchday eleven in the Danske Bank Premiership and Glentoran travel to Stangmore Park, Dungannon to face Warrenpoint Town. After 10 games in this season's league campaign, new boys Warrenpoint Town are sitting in eleventh position in the table with 8 points on the board. Life in the top division began with a 3-2 defeat to Dungannon Swifts but in their second match, against the other promoted side, Ards, Warrenpoint Town secured their first victory with a 2-1 away win. Then came four consecutive defeats against Cliftonville (4-2), Ballinamallard Utd (3-0), Linfield (2-0) and Glenavon (3-1) before they stopped the rot with an impressive 1-all draw at Seaview against Crusaders. A narrow 3-2 loss at Coleraine was followed by a 1-nil win at Ballymena Utd and last weekend Warrenpoint Town took a 2-nil lead against table-toppers, Portadown before having to settle for a 2-all draw.

For Glentoran, David Howland's knee injury will keep him out for some time whilst David Scullion, Aaron Boyd, Mark Miskimmin and Jay Magee have all been suffering with recent knocks. Mark Clarke will have to sit this one out following his dismissal on Tuesday night against Linfield. Manager, Eddie Patterson, encouraged by Tuesday night's performance, will be looking for his team to show the character, fight and desire they displayed in that League Cup fixture again tomorrow.
