Glentoran sign MJ Kamson-Kamara on loan

Glentoran Football Club has announced the season-long loan signing of highly rated defender MJ Kamson-Kamara from EFL League One side Lincoln City, subject to international clearance.

The 19-year-old becomes the latest addition to Declan Devine’s squad as the Glens look to build on their perfect start to the 2025/26 Sports Direct Premiership campaign with four wins from four matches.

Kamson-Kamara progressed through Lincoln City’s scholarship programme before signing his first professional contract with the Imps in February 2023.

Glentoran goalkeeper Andrew Mills says he is determined to keep repaying the faith shown in him as he continues to establish himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper as the Glens prepare to welcome Carrick Rangers to the BetMcLean Oval on Saturday (Kick-off: 3.00pm).
 

The English shot-stopper has been in outstanding form, keeping four clean sheets in four league games as Declan Devine’s side sit top of the Sports Direct Premiership with maximum points.

Loughran named NIFWA Player of the Month

Glentoran Women’s defender Faye Loughran has been named the Sports Direct Northern Ireland Football Writers’ Association Women’s Player of the Month for July, capping a whirlwind start to her Glentoran career.

The 18-year-old Northern Ireland youth international becomes the first player in history to win the award while representing two clubs in the same month, following her move from Lisburn Rangers to the Glens.

Glentoran announces departure of Tony Webster

Glentoran Football Club wishes to announce that Tony Webster is leaving the Club in his role as Chief Executive.

Glentoran appreciates the hard work Tony has contributed over the last 12 months, particularly in his dealings with sponsors and potential commercial partners, as well as supplier relationships. The Club acknowledges the challenge of travelling between two countries and managing two bases.
