Glentoran is pleased to confirm ticketing details for our European Play-Off Semi-Final taking place on Wednesday 7th May 2025 at The BetMcLean Oval.
Kick-off: 7:45pm.

Tickets will go on sale from 12 noon on Sunday 4th May 2025 at glentoran.com/tickets.

Ticket Prices:

  • Adult: £15
  • Concession: £10
  • Kids: £1

Glentoran snap-up Scottish midfielder Liam Burt

Glentoran Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of influential Scottish midfielder Liam Burt on a two-year deal, with the option of a third season.

The 26-year-old becomes the club’s first signing of the summer and joins the Glens following the mutual termination of his contract with League of Ireland Premier Division side Shamrock Rovers.

A technically gifted and versatile right-sided attacker, Burt brings proven quality and creativity to Declan Devine’s squad as preparations already begin for next season.

Glentoran Women Season Tickets Now On Sale

Glentoran Football Club is delighted to confirm that season tickets for the 2025 Glentoran Women’s campaign are now available to purchase online.

Priced at just £45 for adults, the Glentoran Women’s season ticket offers exceptional value and includes entry to every home fixture this season - across both league and cup competitions.

Children can attend all home matches for just £1, payable at the gate on matchday.

European Playoff Dates Confirmed

Glentoran Football Club can confirm that the dates for the 2024/25 European Play-offs have now been finalised.

The Semi-Final fixture will be played on Wednesday 7th May 2025 at The BetMcLean Oval (kick-off: 7:45pm). The identity of our Semi-final opponents will be confirmed following the conclusion of this weekend’s Clearer Water Irish Cup Final.

Should we progress from the Semi-Final, the final will also take place at the BetMcLean Oval on Sunday 11th May 2025 (kick-off: 2.00pm).

Ticket details for the Semi-Final will be released in due course.

Glentoran teams up with Route Media

Glentoran Football Club has teamed up with leading UK media company Route Media to officially launch Northern Ireland’s largest digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising site on Belfast’s Sydenham Bypass.

The 10-year licensing agreement has secured the Sports Direct Premiership club a significant new revenue stream, combining an upfront fee with an ongoing revenue share model that will support Glentoran’s long-term commercial growth.

Trio named in NIFWA Team of the Year

Glentoran Football Club is proud to announce that Daniel Gyollai, Kodi Lyons-Foster and Fuad Sule have been deservedly named in the Northern Ireland Football Writers’ Association Premiership Team of the Year for the 2024/25 season.

Their outstanding performances in the Glentoran shirt throughout the campaign have earned them this prestigious recognition.

Daniel, Kodi and Fuad will be officially honoured at the 2025 NIFWA Awards which are scheduled to take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Sunday 4th May.

Nadene Caldwell named Footballer of the Year at Local Women Sport Awards

Glentoran Women’s midfielder Nadene Caldwell has been named Footballer of the Year (sponsored by Lafayette Photography) at the prestigious Local Women Sport Awards, held last night at the Europa Hotel in Belfast.

The third annual ceremony, hosted by UTV Sport presenter and Local Women Sport columnist Ruth Gorman, celebrated outstanding achievements across both grassroots and elite female sport.

Olympic legend Lady Mary Peters was the evening’s chief guest at the event, which remains the only dedicated all-sports women’s awards ceremony across the UK and Ireland.

Glentoran set for play-off route following draw at Larne

Glentoran will now pursue European qualification via the play-offs after a goalless draw against Larne in the final Sports Direct Premiership fixture of the split at Inver Park.

In a tightly contested game that saw few clear-cut opportunities, the Glens needed a win to secure second place and automatic entry into the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers but were unable to find a breakthrough.

Glentoran Women got their All-Island Cup campaign off to the perfect start with a deserved 1-0 victory over League of Ireland champions Athlone Town at the BetMcLean Oval.

A moment of real quality from Emily Wilson inside the opening four minutes was enough to separate the sides, with the Northern Ireland international racing onto a superb ball from defence and expertly lifting her finish over the Athlone Town goalkeeper.

Glentoran awarded UEFA and Premiership Club Licenses

Glentoran Football Club has been informed by the Irish FA that we have been granted the UEFA Club License (Men’s), the Men’s Premiership Club License and the Women’s Premiership Club License for the 2025/26 season and 2025 (Women’s Premiership) respectively.

In line with the current UEFA and Premiership licensing manuals, clubs were assessed across a number of key areas, including sporting, infrastructure, social and environmental sustainability, personnel and administration, legal and financial.
