Early goals from Curtis Allen and Calum Birney gave the Glens all 3 points in their Saturday evening Danske Bank Premiership game at Dungannon. Ross Redman and Dylan Davidson were back in the squad following inkuries; Redman at left back and Davidson named amongst the substitutes. Missing from last weekend's defeat to Cliftonville was John McGuigan who is awaiting a scan on his knee injury.
Dungannon Swifts v Glentoran

This Saturday we look to bounce back from two consecutive home defeats with a visit to Stangmore Park.

It’s that time of year again when the volunteer organisers of the Glentoran Christmas Appeal need your help!

Glentoran v Cliftonville
Saturday 14th October, 3pm.
This Saturday we finish the first round of league games when Cliftonville visit the Oval.
This one is a real six pointer as the Reds are two points behind us in sixth place. After a mixed start they’ve had three successive League wins against Carrick, Linfield and Warrenpoint.
To mark the 40th anniversary of our European Cup tie against Juventus a special edition of the Glentoran Gazette goes on sale at our game against Cliftonville on Saturday. Our design wizard Clifford Logan has replicated the cover of the Gazette from that night back in 1977 and in the same vein the Bard of Ballymacarrett, Sam Robinson, tells the first part of his tale of reuniting one of those 1970s heroes, Rab McCreery, with his shirt from that memorable night.
Glentoran exited the Bet McLean League Cup at the Oval tonight with a whimper. It was a poor performance all round and it's difficult to take anything positive from the game.
As early as the 4th minute the warning signs were there; Ben Roy was allowed too much time on the left and his cross to the back post was almost turned in by Stuart McMullan.
Crusaders u20 0-4 Glentoran u20
Glentoran got back to winning ways in the u20 NIFL Premiership Development League last night after their recent defeat to St James Swifts in the Steel and Sons Cup with a 4-0 win over Crusaders at Seaview.
The young Glens were bolstered by the presence of 6 first team squad players for the game against a similarly strong Crusaders side for what was a highly competitive and entertaining fixture.
