Glentoran U16s receive high praise from Muckamore FC

Wed, 18/12/2013 - 21:07

In a recent Cup match our U16 team won 15-0 against Mukamore. That is not the story here today. The story is how our Academy and football family reacted to a team struggling to make their way in football and the communication sent by their Manager to the Board of GFC.

Please read the letter below and take pride in the way GFC players, coaches and supporters conduct themselves on and off the pitch.

We thought we should communicate the sequence of communication below that took place with our fans.

Congratulations to all involved

Glens perform well in Seaview Draw

Sat, 14/12/2013 - 18:02

Today's game against Crusaders had far more signficance than just three points at the top of the table. Following a tough week for the club off the pitch following the Jimmy Callacher will he, won't he scenario, the current squad had a massive point to prove- with no better place to do it than the home of the league leaders and unbeaten in 21 games Crusaders. From the start Glentoran played well and rightfully earned a point to take back to East Belfast this evening.
