The boys in question were James McCarthy and Paul O’Neill. (who both started) and Sean Og Gallagher, Malachy Smith, Paul McLaughlin, Jack Henderson and Sean Wallace who were all on the bench. Their fellow Academy graduate Jamie Glover, who picked up an injury in Northern Ireland’s Centenary Shield win over Scotland last Thursday, made an excellent first team debut the previous week at home against Ards.

Glentoran Football Club is delighted to announce that BOX-IT Ireland, the East Belfast based manufacturer of corrugated boxes,  has signed up to become the club’s official Social and Digital media partner for the next three seasons.  Box-It has been a strong friend to Glentoran in recent years so the club is delighted to formalise the relationship in a manner that will be of great benefit to both parties.

Box-It is headed up by Glentoran player legend, Box-It Director and General Manager Darren Lockhart, still a regular and very welcome match day visitor to the Oval.
