Congratulations to both Nathan Kerr and Cricky Gallagher on being called up to the Northern Ireland U21 Squad for the upcoming training camp in Spain and the international friendlies against Bulgaria and Mexico, also in Spain. Everyone is proud of the lads gaining recognition in what has been a very challenging season for the club.
Manager Gary Smyth said this evening;"Personally I'm delighted for both the boys in receiving such high level recognition. Its been a very difficult season so for Nathan and Cricky to be selected gives all of us at the club a lift. Hopefully they'll go to Spain and enjoy and learn from the experience. I know they'll certainly do the club proud".
Nathan was in the U21 squad for European Championship qualifiers in Luxembourg and Spain earlier in the season so has clearly impressed manager Ian Baraclough at close quarters. This is Cricky's first U21 call up after caps at U17 and U19 level.
