Glentoran FC Board Restructure

Simon Kitchen has been co-opted onto the board of Glentoran as commercial director with immediate effect. Simon brings a wealth of commercial experience from his career to date and will be tasked with being responsible for all commercial activity at the club, from dealing with kit suppliers, advertising internally and externally across all media platforms, to hot food vendors and much more. He will also be tasked with forming a 'Commercial Team' comprising of willing volunteers from across our supporter base. We wish him every success in the role.

Under 13's Travelling To Berlin!

Today week will see our Under 13s make the trip to Germany, becoming the first Glentoran team to play competitively in the German capital of Berlin in 100 years. Not since that now legendry European foray to win the Vienna Cup have Glentoran played a competitive match in the famous city, against Hertha Berlin, when Emerson, Scraggs, Lyner and co played a warm up friendly before the Vienna Cup success.

Pre-season underway

The Glentoran first team squad began preparations for the 2014-15 season today with their first training session at the Blanchflower Stadium.

Three further sessions will follow next week before the team travel to face Loughgall in our first friendly game.

 

JH15 Testimonial Match

The Jason Hill Testimonial Committee have announced the details of the testimonial match. The match will take place at The Oval on Saturday 2nd August and the opponents will be Ards FC. Admission Prices are below,
 
Adult £10
Concession ( over 65 and age 11-16) £5
Kids under 11 - £1 when accompanied by Adult
 

Milk Cup And The Academy Under 15's

The Glentoran Academy u15’s (1999 age group) will be represented at this year’s Milk Cup by five of its players. Tre Stirling and Callan McCredie have been chosen to represent Co Antrim, while Scott McArthur, Ethan Bates and Reece Marshall are all representing Co Down at this year’s prestigious youth football tournament! Manager Michael Morrow and all at Glentoran would like to congratulate the boys and wish them all the best of luck!
