Kane signs contract extension

Tue, 30/09/2014 - 19:14

Marcus Kane has signed a 3-year contract extension with Glentoran.

Manager, Eddie Patterson said, "We are delighted that Marcus, a pivotal member of the squad, has committed his long term future to the club. I'm sure that if we had let his contract enter the final 6 months then many clubs in our league would have been keen to officially talk to him. That is no longer an issue and Marcus can now focus solely on his game."

Dungannon vist Oval this Weekend

Fri, 26/09/2014 - 19:08

Victories are proving hard to come by in the Danske Bank Premiership for Glentoran this season but performances haven't quite been as poor. The team have played well and with a little more luck in front of goal and composure in the latter stages of games Glentoran could be sitting far better in the current table. As it lies, Glentoran are in 8th position on just 11 points from 9 games having drawn four of our last six games. Despite that we are only 6 points off the top, 3 behind champions Cliftonville and 2 behind biggest rivals Linfield.
