Following the recent AGM of the club, Glentoran Football Club announces two changes to the current Board structure:
The funeral service for Glentoran legend Ron Manley was held at Roselawn at noon today. To add to the poignancy of this very sad occasion Ron's coffin was carried into the crematorium by his friends and team mates from the great Glens teams of the 1980s. There could be no more fitting tribute to Yorkie.
Left to right: Raymond Morrison, Rab McCreery, Gary Blackledge, Billy Caskey, Jim Cleary and Barney Bowers.
Say hello to the new Glentoran 2018/19 away kit modeled by Curtis Allen, Jess Foy, Marcus Kane, Elliott Morris and Dwayne Nelson.
The kit can be worn with either green or black shorts as seen in some photos. Two goalkeeper tops coming in Purple and a triangle design lime green.
Yorkie’s funeral service will take place at Roselawn Crematorium at noon this Wednesday, June 27. Everyone is welcome to play their final respects to this club legend.
Le Jeu Avant Tout

There are some players you just identify with more than others. Ron Manley was one of mine and I’m sure for lots of my generation. He was part of so many great days in his 13 years as a first teamer that it’s impossible for anyone of our generation not to feel a real sense of loss at yesterday’s news.
Everyone at Glentoran Football Club deeply mourns the sudden death of our playing legend and 250 Club member, Ron “Yorkie” Manley.
Glentoran Women FC enjoyed a great away win this evening over second placed Crusaders Strikers at Seaview. Goals either side of half time from Rachel Rogan and Ali McMaster gave the fourth placed Glens a 0-2 victory. With six matches played, Glens Women are now three points behind Crusaders with a game in hand and a vastly superior goal difference. A more detailed report will appear on the Women's Team section.
