At the recent Glentoran Academy Prize Day the following four players were presented with the awards for the Under 20 team:
- Cricky Conn : U20 Player of the Year
- James McCarthy : U20 Players' Player of the Year
- Paul O'Neill: U20 Top Scorer
- Mal Smith; U20 Most Improved Player
Paul, James and Cricky all featured for the first team at the end of last season while Paul was also on the first team trip to Detroit in May 2017. Paul and James are now on professional terms while Cricky has signed for Premiership club Burnley.
