Share Certificates

The share certificates for the recent season ticket/share offer have now been prepared.  A number of certificates have already been delivered but share holders who have not yet received their certificate and are attending Monday's County Antrim Shield game are asked to collect it from the Oval.  They can be collected from the ticket office (beside the Players' Entrance) between 6.30pm and 7.30pm and again after the game.  Remaining certificates will be delivered this week.

Glentoran v Ballymena Utd-Preview

On the back of three well earned points against Lisburn Distillery last weekend, Glentoran will hope to build on that result with victory on our travels tonight at 7.45p.m against Ballymena Utd at the Showgrounds. With Both Coleraine and Cliftonville winning last weekend as well, The Glens remain in 3rd position in the table with 16 points from 8 games. We remain unbeaten with four wins and four draws so far.

Shield tie postponed

As a result of the recent heavy rain tonight's County Antrim Shield tie against Linfield at the Oval has been postponed.  The game has been rearranged for next Monday, 1st October, at the Oval with a 7.45pm kick off.

Glentoran v Lisburn Distillery- Preview

This Saturday, Glentoran legend Tim McCann makes his first return to The Oval since being appointed as manager of Lisburn Distillery in the summer. McCann who had two playing spells at the Oval made 281 appearances for the club and went on to be a member of the coaching staff after his retirement. For the last couple of seasons McCann was assistant manager to Scott Young before getting his break this summer in his first managerial role. Always a fan favourite, Tim will undoubtedly receive a warm reception on his return to his former home.
