Nathan and Dylan called up for Northern Ireland training
Congratulations from everyone at the club to our young players Nathan Kerr and Dylan Davidson on being selected to attend the Northern Ireland Under 21 training camp to be held next month. This honour is richly deserved by both boys after taking part in a long, tough first season playing at senior level.
Glentoran Supporters Committee (1923) presentation
Prior to last Saturday's Danske Bank Premiership game against Carrick Rangers the Glentoran Supporters Committee (1923) Chairman, Jimmy Carter presented the parent body with a cheque for £2500.
The '23's continued support is greatly appreciated.
The efforts of the Glentoran Gazette team, led by editor Norman Ternahan and those who turn up for every home game in all weathers to sell the Gazette are a credit not only to the Glentoran Supporters Committee (1923) but also to Glentoran Football Club.

Glentoran 1-2 Carrick Rangers
Carrick Rangers came to the Oval today bottom of the Danske Bank Premiership and for the third time this season came away unbeaten after overturning a half time lead to run out 2-1 winners and move above Ballinamallard United into eleventh place. The Glens players put in an insipid, soulless second half performance that epitomised what has been a car crash of a season.

On Saturday we have our penultimate match of the season when Carrick Rangers visit the Oval. Carrick went bottom of the table for the first time this season following their controversial 2-1 defeat at Ballinamallard on Tuesday night so they have plenty to play for this weekend as they are just two points adrift of the Mallards with six to play for.
Club to appeal Curtis' red card
The club has formally registered an appeal to the IFA Disciplinary Committee against Curtis Allen's red card in Tuesday's match v Dungannon Swifts. Curtis has been charged with violent conduct.
Glens Women start with a draw
Glentoran Women 0 - 0 Crusaders Strikers
Glentoran will feel aggrieved not to come away with the three points on the opening day of the Danske Bank Women;'s Premiership campaign. They dominated from start to finish and their back four and keeper were rarely troubled. The Glentoran Players seemed to relish the opportunity to get the ball wide on the big Oval pitch, Samantha Kelly and Demi Vance caused havoc in the first half and were both unlucky not to put the ball in the net.
Glentoran 4-2 Dungannon Swifts
Glentoran secured another 3 points in tonight's Danske Bank Premiership game with a 4-2 victory over Dungannon Swifts and in doing so made absolutely certain of their European play-off spot.

GFC Board have taken the increase of "pay at the gate" prices into consideration, however have decided NOT to increase prices for the 2018/19 season.
