On Saturday we make our first visit of the season to Stangmore Park.
Glentoran 2006s paraded the much coveted Super Cup to our large home support at Tuesday nights IPL game against Coleraine at the Oval to round off an amazing journey in their young careers!
In the competition itself a couple of weeks back the boys had to mount a comeback after a shaky start on day one of the tournament where the boys lost 2-1 to Bertie Peacock against the run of play which put them up against it as it usually takes three wins to top a super cup group and only first place in the group make the super cup proper.
Brendan Hamilton scored on day one.
Glentoran Women returned to the top of the Danske Bank Women's Premiership on goal difference tonight with a comfortable win over Derry City at the Brandywell. The Glens goals came from Rachel Rogan (2), Joely Andrews and Kerry Beattie.
Glentoran are on level points with Sion Swifts and a point ahead of Linfield Ladies. However those two teams have one and two games in hand respectively.

Coleraine U20 2-5 Glentoran U20
Glentoran 20s bounced back and got their season up and running this evening with three well earned points in Coleraine.
Cricky Gallagher opened the scoring with a sweet curling finish from 20 yards before James McCarthy powered in a header from a pin point Charlie Lindsay free kick.
Coleraine pulled the game back to 2-1 from the penalty spot but minutes later McCarthy was on the mark again, this time from a corner with a back post header for 3-1
Two goals in the last twelve minutes rescued the Glens from what would have been a very harsh and undeserved defeat in front of an outstanding home support at the Oval last night.
Premiership football is back at the Oval tonight and it’s a brand new look for your multi-award winning Glentoran Gazette. In the first edition Henry Muldrew recalls his least favourite Glentoran kit while on the flip side Sam Robinson lays his hands on two pieces of memorabilia which bring back a multitude of great memories. Thomas McCartney has been “On The Road” to our pre-season friendlies, Eddy Patrick begins a new feature chatting to our 250 Club members starting with current club captain Marcus Kane and the John Grayden interview is with last Friday’s man of the match John Herron.
A Kelly Bailie double couldn't stop Glentoran Women suffering only their second defeat of the season tonight. Kelly twice equalised before the Glens suffered a late sucker punch. GW are now two points behing league leaders Linfield and ahead of Sion on goal difference. However both clubs have a match in hand over us.
