The winners have been Curtis Allen, Calum Birney and Elliott Morris who has won it an incredible four of the six months.  With five wins, seventeen goals scored and three clean sheets in the month we should have a few more candidates this time round.  Just place your vote beside your choice. Appearance Milestone for Marcus

Wed, 28/02/2018 - 21:03

Team captain Marcus Kane will make his 200th first team appearance in Saturday’s Tennents’ Irish Cup Quarter Final (weather permitting).

Marcus, who is 26, joined Glentoran from Linfield in July 2012 after a season on loan at Carrick Rangers. He made his debut in a 3-1 home win over Donegal Celtic on 11th August 2012, scoring his first goal in an away League Cup win over Institute two months later.

Glentoran 5-0 Warrenpoint Town

Tue, 27/02/2018 - 23:53

A hattrick from Robbie McDaid and a brace from Curtis Allen saw Glentoran make it two home wins in four days. It was the best Oval performance the Glentoran fans have witnessed for some time and the win could have been more emphatic with Curtis Allen having a goal ruled out for offside and the crossbar being struck twice also.

Glentoran v Warrenpoint Town

Tuesday 27th February 2018, 7.45pm kick off.

Warrenpoint visit the Oval on Tuesday to play the game abandoned at half time on January 2nd.

We’ve won both matches we’ve played this season – a 2-0 home win in September through goals from Curtis Allen and Robbie McDaid and a 2-3 victory at Milltown in late November when goals from Daniel Kelly (2) and Tiarnan McNicholl saw us through in a tense match after we lost an early two goal lead.  The abandoned match was 0-0 after 45 minutes.
