Glens Players volunteer at Connswater Community Centre

Over the last decade, the Glentoran Community Trust has built up a strong and valuable relationship with Ruby’s Bar, Dundonald.
As a community totally reliant on the dedication, courage and conviction of all our NHS staff and key workers in these uncertain times, we were delighted to hear that the car park facilities at Ruby’s were now being used as an overspill for Ulster Hospital staff.
Glens donate PPE to local care home
Glentoran Football Club was proud yesterday to donate 150 facemasks to Palmerston Care Home in East Belfast. This was from the consignment of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) donated to social worker and care workers across Belfast last week by our majority shareholder Ali Pour.

With everyone in lockdown and missing our Glentoran fix, the Glentoran first team squad and management has offered up this version of “Days Like This”, written by East Belfast’s most famous son and Glenman, Van Morrison, as their tribute to the tireless and selfless workers of the NHS.
