Ballymac GSC 40th Anniversary
A celebration to mark Ballymac GSC's 40th anniversary was held on Saturday night.
Ballymac GSC Chairman, Thomas Sewell and the members of the club welcomed guests from other Glentoran supporters' clubs, past and present Glentoran players and Glentoran FC officials to their clubrooms to mark their 40th anniversary. It was a superb evening and great to have so many of the Glentoran family together for the occasion.

A tremendous second half performance from Glentoran almost saw Eddie Patterson’s men overcome a two goal half time deficit in a rip-roaring game at the Oval this afternoon. The Glens were without the suspended Willie Garrett who was replaced by Calum Birney while Marcus Kane returned from suspension in place of Steven McCullough.

You will have noticed a big increase in the number of red, green and black flags both at the Oval and at away games in recent weeks. It has largely been the result of a campaign by men and women who are part of the 'Glentoran Sydenham End' to bring some colour back to the games and by doing so, encourage the players.
Half Season Tickets
Glentoran FC are offering supporters the opportunity to purchase a Half Season Ticket which would entitle them to entry to all home league games from Saturday 17th January until the end of the season.

Central defender Jay Magee has been placed on the transfer list for disciplinary reasons.
Glentoran 2-0 Ards
Glentoran overcame an industrious Ards side to book their place in the last sixteen of the Irish Cup. Second half goals from Danny McKee and Fra McCaffrey gave Eddie Patterson’s side the victory on a bitterly cold afternoon in East Belfast.
