Glentoran Football Club is delighted to confirm that applications are now open for the 2025 26 Mascot Programme.
This unique initiative gives young supporters aged 6 to 11 the chance to lead the Glens out at the BetMcLean Oval on a home match day. It is a moment they will remember forever.
Each mascot will walk out alongside a first-team player, be featured in the official Glentoran Gazette and receive a personalised Glentoran certificate to commemorate their day. Where possible, mascots may also have the opportunity to meet players or enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the dressing room, subject to match scheduling and managerial approval.
To be eligible, children must own a full Glentoran home or away kit, and priority will be given to those who have not participated as a mascot within the past two seasons.
Please note that specific matches cannot be selected and mascot slots will be allocated based on availability. Due to anticipated high demand for Boxing Day derbies and home cup ties, applications for those fixtures will be entered into an open draw with successful candidates notified at least two weeks in advance.
Each mascot will receive a complimentary match ticket with one additional ticket provided for an accompanying adult. Mascots must arrive at the Glentoran Superstore no later than 30 minutes before kick-off, accompanied by an adult who will also be responsible for collection after the mascot experience concludes.
To register your interest, please email superstore@glentoran.com. Applicants will be asked to complete a short questionnaire and submit a recent digital photograph of the child, preferably in the Glentoran kit, for publication in the Glentoran Gazette.
Please note that completion of the application form will also act as parental consent for the child to participate in match day mascot activities.
