Ross Redman has been overwhelmingly voted the Glentoran Supporters' Player of the Month for March.
Ross played every minute of first team action in March and won the vote through some very strong performances on the left hand side, particularly his Man of the Match performance in our away draw with Linfield. He also committed his future to the club in March when he agreed and signed a two year contract extension that will keep him in East Belfast until at least May 2020.
On being told of his award on Tuesday, Ross said "A big thank you to everyone who voted for me. I’m delighted to have won the supporters’ vote but obviously I understand how disappointing it was for us to miss out on a top six finish after last week’s result. But I know we will all go all out to end the season on a high and push for Europe through the play offs. We all know how important that is to the club and the supporters.”
Ross won 35% of the vote with February winner Curtis Allen runner up on 17%. Marcus Kane (13%) and Steven Gordon (9%) made up the top four in the supporters’ vote.
Previous winners in the inaugural season have been Elliott Morris (four times), John McGuigan Calum Birney and Curtis Allen.
