Two more of our promising young players will spend the 2023-2024 season on loan in the Playr-Fit Championship.
Kirk McLaughlin has joined Institute for the season. Kirk (19) joined us from Coleraine at the start of 2022/23. He made 6 appearances last season, scoring 2 goals before going on loan in January to Loughgall, who he helped win the Championship and promotion to the Sports Direct Premiership.
Alex Henderson has gone on loan to Dundela where he will link up with his Glentoran U20s team mate Jake white, also on loan. Goalkeeper Alex (18) joined the Glens in January from Airdrie where he had some experience of first team football in the Scottish League One
Ben Cushnie made the best possible start to his own loan spell with Bangor last weekend when he scored both goals in Bangor’s 2-2 pre-season victory over Linfield.
