Robbie McDaid has won his second consecutive Supporters' Glentoran Player of the Month for his strong performances in February. Robbie played in all five of our February matches, scoring in our draw at Newry and our home win over Warrenpoint Town. He achieved 41% of a hard contested vote, pipping four goal Darren Murray who had 34%. Also polling were Conor Pepper (18%), Lukas Gwiazda and Marcus Kane.
On being told of his win, Robbie said "Delighted to pick up the player of the month award again. After getting it last month I touched on wanting to keep that level of performance up between now and the end of the season and it’s another step towards achieving that. February has been a mixed bag for us with 2 wins, 2 losses and a draw but we’re still in the hunt for a European play off spot, so it’s important we all stick together and get behind each other like we have all season for this important run in".
