Glentoran can confirm that Theo McToal has departed the club after the expiration of his contract.
An Academy graduate and product of our youth system, Theo signed his first professional deal with the Glens in July 2023 after impressing throughout his time with the club’s underage sides.
A composed and hard-working full-back, Theo progressed through the ranks to earn his senior debut in March 2024. He came off the bench in our home victory over Ballymena United, before featuring again in our away fixture at Cliftonville the following month.
Theo spent the second half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Ballyclare Comrades in the NIFL Championship, gaining valuable first-team experience and continuing his development in a competitive senior environment.
