After a goalless first half, the hosts found the breakthrough in the second period to claim the win.
Declan Devine made full use of his squad, introducing Peter Urminsky, Dylan Connolly, Cal Weatherup, Jonny Russell, Aaron Wightman, Frankie Hvid, Ciaran Coll, Callan Farley, Liam Burt, Charlie Lindsay and James Douglas, with Josh Kelly replacing Joe Thomson late in the match.
The Glens now turn their attention to next weekend’s Sports Direct Premiership opener away to Portadown.
