Academy Roles
Glentoran Academy continues to grow from strength to strength both on and off the pitch. In order to continue to do this it is vital to get more assistance in a variety of roles.

Positions
Public Relations
Coordinate Facebook page and website updates - developing content for the sites
Child Protection officers
Report to child protection manager - assigned an age band to look after - going to view matches and to insure good practice is operation - reporting back to CP Manager and ultimately Academy Director on any issues
Events Team
Assist with the organisation and running of Academy events eg Golf day, End of Season awards day (BBQ included), fundraising.
Admin Assistants
Assist the Administration duties assigned by the Administration Manager
Scouts/Coaches
Qualified coaches with a player development centred approach.
Committee members
Experience in business who would like to get involved in driving the academy forward.
All of the above positions will be access NI cleared before partaking in any role within the academy and are thus subject to the clubs child protection policies and procedures.
Please note that all the roles are voluntary.
