The Glentoran U20 squad continued its good form with a 3 - 1 home league win over Carrick Rangers Reserves tonight. That takes the Wee Glens to joint top of the league with Ballymena United Reserves and Linfield Swifts.
The Glentoran goals came from Joe O'Connor, Jonathan Smith and Karl Hamill.
Club Captain Stephen McAlorum made a successful return to playing with his first 60 minutes play since sustaining a serious knee injury eleven months ago. Ciaran Clougherty replaced Mackers after 60 minutes for his own first outing since early September following a troublesome thigh injury.
