At Saturday's game against Cliftonville, a number of presentations where made on the pitch to various Glentoran Academy teams regarding sponsorship for the forthcoming season.
Firstly a presentation was made to Glentoran U11's head coach Murray Bradford from two PR reps from Spur Steak & Grill, Victoria Square. The girls presented Murray with the U11's shirt for the season with their new sponsor. Spur have also donated footballs and t-shirts to the academy kids, as well as a loyalty card initiative providing all academy kids and their families with discount in their restaurant.
Murray Bradford then turned provider for M&M The Windscreen Men as he presented Glentoran U12's manager Stephen Lowry with their kit for the season.
Jason Cummings and the Glentoran U16's squad would also like to thank David McCulla and Downeys Newtownards for their donation of 26 footballs as this is a massive help towards the coming seasons.
On top of this, Glentoran would like to extent a thank you to goalkeeper Elliott Morris who kindly purchased 30 footballs for the Glentoran Academy out of his testimonial fundraiser.
