As all Glentoran supporters will be aware, myself and Ruth have worked tirelessly to ensure that the new season's kit and training gear were available to everyone from tomorrow night - Friday 5th August. We have just received the following statement from Kappa Team Sport Manager Dave Bandell.
" Kappa would like to apologise for the late delivery of part of your home kit. We have tried everything to deliver on time and in full for your launch event on the 5th August however due to circumstances beyond our control at customs part of the shipment has been delayed. We will do everything possible to get the balance of the delivery to you as soon as possible.
I would like Glentoran fans to know that this is in no way the fault of the club and we will make sure that this issue is avoided in the future.
Good luck with the launch."
We have received a limited amount of Adult Home Shirts and these will go on sale tomorrow evening at 6:30 as planned. This season's training gear will also be on sale.
It is anticipated that the second delivery referred to in above statement will be made week commencing Monday 8th August and we will keep supporters updated when they are available to purchase.
This is not an ideal situation for anyone especially Ruth, it has been very frustrating for us all, however we would appreciate your patience in this matter.
