All at Glentoran FC were saddened today to learn of the passing of Phil Scott, grandfather of Jordan Stewart. He was 71.
Phil had a long and distinguished Irish League career with Linfield, Distillery and Glenavon and had many friends and admirers in the local game.
On behalf of the President, Chairman, Board of Directors, Manager, Staff, Players and Supporters of Glentoran FC, we extend our deepest sympathy to Phil's wife Mary, daughters Karen & Pamela, son-in-law Jeff, grandchildren Laura, Casey, Jayci, Lucy & Jordan and great-grandchild, Kye and assure them that they are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
Phil Scott's funeral service will be held at Melville's on the Lisburn Road at 11:30am on Tuesday 6th May. There will be a further service at Roselawn Crematorium at 1:00pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.
