In what has become an annual event in the Glentoran calendar, our match programme, the Glentoran Gazette this weekend won the Northern Ireland Programme of the Year for an incredible 19th consecutive season. The award is made by the Northern Ireland Football Programme Collectors Club. Congratulations to everyone on the Gazette team on this remarkable, unprecedented achievement.

The Gazette is published by the Glentoran Supporters' Committee (1923) and is very much a team effort with the regular programme team supplemented by occasional contributors. Norman asked www.glentoran.com to thank on his behalf the regular Gazette contributors Roy Downes, John Grayden, Thomas McCartney, Brian McClelland, Henry Muldrew, Eddy Patrick and Thomas Sewell. Also the regular sellers - Philip Stevenson, David Blanchflower and Ian Jamieson who stand at the Oval turnstiles week in and week out no matter what the weather, occasionally helped by Tim Graham.
The Board of Directors wish to place on record their appreciation and sincere thanks to everyone involved with the Gazette for their peerless and invaluable contribution to the club and the matchday experience on so many different levels.
