Last week Glentoran Academy had no fewer than nine of our 2004 players representing Northern Ireland at the AGS Cup in Spain.
Many congratulations to Jamie McDonnell who captined the team, Jake Wallace, Elliott Wood (scored twice), Dylan Sloan (captain for 1 game) Joe Hopes, Callum Marshall, Conor Falls (scored 1), Mathew Carson and Aaron Whiteman. Harry Wilson had been selected but unfortunately couldn’t go due to injury otherwise it would have been 10 Glens players in the squad! Everyone at Glentoran FC & Academy are extremely proud of this remarkable story and each and every boy involved. Well done all.
