Glentoran make the short trip across Belfast on Saturday to face Danske Bank Premiership leaders, Crusaders. The Crues have won 11, drawn 6 and lost just 2 of their league games to date. Those defeats, to Ballinamallard Utd (1-0) and Ballymena Utd (2-1), came way back in August but since then the Shore Road side have put together an unbeaten league run of 17 games and also reached the final of the Co. Antrim Shield and semi-final of the League Cup.

In the only other meeting between the sides this season Crusaders had a comfortable 3-0 win at the Oval so it'll be a tough ask for the Glens. A win though would take the East Belfast side to within 3 points of the current table toppers. Ryan O'Neill is suspended for this game having picked up 5 yellow cards but other than long term absentee, David Howland, Eddie Patterson has a full strength side to pick from. Aaron Boyd and Jordan Hughes, who both scored hattricks last weekend for the Seconds, may also force their way back into the squad.
