Glentoran begin life without Eddie Patterson as they travel to Warrenpoint Town tomorrow.

While the board look for their next appointment, Director of Football Roy Coyle will take charge of team affairs.

In the meantime, the attention will be diverted back onto the pitch tomorrow as the Glens are in contention to win two league games on the bounce for the first time this season.

Danske Bank Premiership strugglers Warrenpoint Town play host to the East Belfast side, and will be looking to capitalise on Glentoran’s distraction off the pitch.

The Point are currently rooted to the bottom of the league having only collected one win in the campaign so far.  However, Barry Gray’s side have enjoyed League Cup success and earlier this month booked a quarter-final tie with Institute after beating Portadown away.

Glentoran will be hoping to take advantage of Warrenpoint’s poor home form as they have only picked up one point at Milltown in a 2-2 draw against Cliftonville back in August.  Gray’s men were also beaten 3-0 last week as Linfield left Milltown with three points in David Healy’s first game in charge of the Blues.

The Glens boast a strong record against tomorrow’s opponent, having lost one game in the side’s seven Premiership clashes.  The last time the club’s met in August, the Glens stuttered over the line at the Oval to seal a 2-1 victory and claim their first Premiership win of the season thanks to Curtis Allen’s brace.

Ahead of the game, Jay Magee is back in contention after missing last week’s home win.  Niall Henderson and Jim O’Hanlon played for the reserves in Wednesday night’s 1-3 victory over Carrick Rangers reserves. Meanwhile, summer signing Ciaran Caldwell is still suspended
