Congratulations to Luke McCullough on making his 100th appearance for Glentoran in Saturday’s home Sports Direct Premiership win over Glenavon.
Luke’s value to the team has been very clear to everyone this season with the leadership and composure he adds to the defence and to our performances overall. He was overwhelmingly voted Glentoran Player of the Month for August and after his injury at Newry when the Glens were riding high, his four-game league absence coincided with a winless run. His return has contributed to probably our two most convincing wins of the season to date.
Luke was the supporters choice as official Glentoran Player of the Year in his debut season 2021-2022 and now established as vice-captain we all hope to see him pick up plenty more personal awards as well as a few trophies for the team this season and beyond.
