Late, Late Show brings Irish Cup Glory for Glentoran Women

Sun, 23/09/2018 - 00:24

Two headed goals in the last five minutes from Player of the Match Makyla Mulholland gave Glentoran Women a 2-1 victory over Linfield Ladies in the Electric Ireland Women's Irish Cup Final at the National Stadium at Windsor Park tonight. It was no more than the Glens deserved in a hard fought, top quality game as they were on top for most of the 90 minutes.

Warm congratulations all of the team, to General Manager Billy Clarke, Coach Gail Redmond and everyone who has played their part in an excellent end to the season in which the Glens have also moved into second place in the league with a superb unbeaten run.
