Glens of Dublin is the 7-a-side team of the Insaka-Glentoran Academy.

They play in our Seconds team kit donated by the club annually.

The small-sided game specialists come together over the summer months to play in tournaments and exhibition games. Last weekend the team played in the annual Eid World Cup at the Law Society grounds, Dublin for the benefit of the people of Nepal to help them recover from the recent earthquake. The event was organised by Sport Against Racism Ireland, Islamic Relief, Hijabs and Hatricks and Diverse City AFC.

Glens of Dublin would like to thank the continued support of Glentoran FC. Next up for the team is the SARI Soccerfest in September.

The Board, shareholders and fans of the Club are proud of our continued tradition to support cross border, cross community and Anti-Racist initiatives and this year’s Glens of Dublin team follows a long standing friendship with our Dublin friends in sport.

The Glens of Dublin line up is:

Back row (Left to Right): Otto Tabbi (Cameroon), Dimeji Olajubu (Nigeria),  Abdul Hajji (Kenya) & Mohammed Saleh (Zanzibar)

Front row (Left to Right): Glen O' Hanlon (Irish Republic), Nabil Omar (Tanzania) & Saheed Ogunfowora (Nigeria).
