In July 2018 Peter McCreery (Ruth's Superstore team) travelled to Tanzania with a group of teenagers from NI to volunteer with the charity in Tanzania.
Glentoran FC were asked to make a donation and we were only to happy to send Peter off with a few Home shirts and infant kits from 16/17 season.
Many of our supporters also helped Peter by sponsoring his abseil down Europa hotel on 10th June. This sponsorship helped cover the costs associated with the trip.
Above photo shows Peter with a few of the villagers, handing over the "Glens" football shirts and spreading the GFC spirit of friendship beyond local shores.
