GlensTV to stream home matches live.

Tue, 20/10/2020 - 21:04

Glentoran Football Club has teamed up with 247.tv to live stream our home matches in this season’s Danske Bank Premiership. *

The service will start this Saturday (23rd October) when we play Glenavon at the Oval. The game will be filmed by David Kerr of GlensTV, who everyone will agree has done an exceptional job with his highlights packages in recent years. Commentator for the match will be Aaron Agnew, also a veteran of GlensTV who has a wealth of experience in match coverage, both at Glentoran and Northern Ireland’s various youth leagues.

We are particularly delighted to announce that our regular expert analyst will be Glentoran’s legendary captain, Paul Leeman. While we all know “Leeper” from his 597 first team appearances for the club, everyone will also be aware of his extensive media work since retiring as a player. We are proud to have Paul as part of the team.

Matches will be available for £7 live stream, or for £3 on replay, once the match is finished. Each match will be accessed and paid for individually, but it is necessary to register in advance with 247.tv. That can be done here.

It is still not clear how many supporters will be allowed to attend Saturday’s match. However, we have arranged with 247.tv for Glentoran season ticket holders to access the game free if Executive health & safety restrictions prohibit them from attending matches. Detail of how this can be accessed will be published later this week.

URGENT MESSAGE TO SEASON TICKET HOLDERS:

Several season ticket holders have not submitted their email address to the club. It is essential that this is done immediately to enable free access to matches if not permitted to attend. Please forward your email address to Ruth at seasontickets@glentoran.com

If you do not have an email address, please call the Secretary on 02890 456137

*This does not apply to matches broadcast live by BBC Northern Ireland or Sky.
