Glentoran’s goalkeepers have joined in a positive and exciting new link up with a goalkeeper gloves company owned by Bournemouth and former Chelsea keeper Asmir Begovic.
With immediate effect all goalkeeper gloves for the Glentoran first team set up will be sponsored and provided free of charge by AB1GK, while the company will also provide gloves to all goalkeepers within Glentoran, Glentoran Women and the Glentoran Boys and Girls Academy at a preferential rate.
Glentoran Goalkeeper Coach and goalkeeping legend Elliott Morris said of the link up:” AB1GK already sponsored big Dayle, and the company’s Managing Director David Sanderson arranged with me to enter this partnership with the club. Its fantastic for the Glens’ keepers to be involved with someone like Asmir Begovic, who has played and still plays at the highest level. The gloves are top quality and we’re all really enjoying using them in matches and training”.
