Last weekend, Glentoran U14's side sailed off to Glasgow to play a friendly match against Glasgow Rangers. Their weekend included a tour of the famous Ibrox Stadium as well as taking in a Rangers match before their own game at Murray Park-all in a jammed pack 24 hours! The trip was a fantastic experience for the boys and an experience they will no doubt not forget in a hurry. The highlight was of course was managing to defeat the Glasgow giants 1-0 on the floodlit pitch at Murray Park.
This was a fantastic victory for the side against such a reputable team and gives us great confidence in the future stars for Glentoran.
