On This Day Glentoran.
As from tomorrow (Wednesday 23rd August), the @Glentoran Twitter and Facebook feed will have a new and very interesting asset for its 14,000 followers – “On This Day GFC”.
All the work of lifelong Glenman Robert Johnston (with some help from “Glentoran: The Complete Record”), this will each day at midday update with key landmarks in Glentoran history that occurred on that date some time in the past 135 years. Some fresh in the memory and some a bit more distant! All of them will mean something to Glentoran supporters of all ages.
The Glentoran Media Team would like to thank Robert very much for making his incredible archive available to the club. We know everyone will get as much pleasure from reading it each day as Robert has done from compiling it.
