The Danske Bank Premiership Trophy Tour will once again take place this season with the Gibson Cup heading to various branches around the country, starting with no less than four events during the Hallowe’en holidays. As always the Gibson Cup will be transported from branch to branch in to our branded Skoda Superb from Mervyn Stewart.
Monday sees Linfield players Sammy Clingan and Jamie Mulgrew head to the Bloomfield Shopping Centre in Bangor giving fans the chance to see the Gibson Cup and get some pictures taken with the players. This is followed up on Tuesday with Crusaders players at Danske Bank in the Abbey Centre, Newtownabbey.
On Wednesday it is Cliftonville’s turn as we go to the Kennedy Centre, Belfast and we end the first tour week off with Glentoran at Connswater Shopping Centre.
Graeme Beggs, NIFL Marketing and Communications Manager, was delighted with the level of attention the activity received from Danske Bank customers last season and hopes that this season will be even better.
“These events were excellent last year not only with the Danske Bank customers but also with their employees. This season it is planned to schedule the trophy tours to coincide with the school holidays so that more young supporters can meet the players and see the Gibson Cup.”
