Prior to yesterday's final home match of the season, Curtis Allen was presented with the Glentoran Player of the Year award by senior officers of the Catlereagh Glentoran Supporters Club, long time organisers of the award.
This is the third consecutive year Curtis has won the supporters vote, this time winning a two horse race with Elliott Morris. Despite a poor season for the club in general he has so far scored 24 goals in 43 appearances with only Gormley of Cliftonville and Heatley of Crusaders ahead of him. A great achivement. To date Curtis has scored 91 goals from 182 appearances since signing from Invverness CT in January 2014.
Congratulations to Curtis from everyone at Glentoran and we all look forward to you hitting the 100 mark next season.
