With young Charlie Lindsay today completing his long anticipated move to the goants of Rangers, Glentoran has lost a young player with great talent, a fantastic attitude and we are sure a lad with a great future in the game for club and country.
Charlie has been at Glentoran Academy for most of his life. In a great year group and some great teams, Charlie has always been seen as one of our very top prospects. So we thought it would be nice to share some of his greatest Glentoran memories, including this first one of a visit in 2013 by nine year old Charlie and his team mates and coaches to the Rangers Training Centre in Auchenowie, Glasgow. What a prophetic photograph!
