Patrick Cafolla and Dwayne Nelson have signed contract extensions at Glentoran FC; Cafolla for 2 years and Nelson for 1.
Manager Gary Haveron was pleased to keep both players in the squad, "I've known Dwayne for a long time. As well as being a very experienced 'keeper, he's a hard worker and looks after himself. He finished the season well in the Ards game and had an excellent 45 minutes in Detroit. Out goalkeeping coach works both Dwayne and Elliott very hard and Elliott knows he has to be on his game if he wants the starting spot."
"Patrick is a good young 2-footed player looking to make his mark. I expect him to show me fight and determination in pre-season and look to really kick on this year."
Dwayne Nelson was delighted to have put pen to paper again, "I really enjoy working with David McClelland and Elliott Morris and am looking forward to the season. Last season I was pushing Elliott and he had to have one of his best years."
Patrick Cafolla is also happy to be back, "I wanted to stay and prove my worth. There were other offers but I really wanted to stay at Glentoran. Pre-season has been tough but it's exactly what we needed and I'm enjoying it."
