Glentoran Football Club would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy holiday weekend and a very Merry Christmas.!
Boxing Day will see our traditional Match against Linfield as an opportunity to showcase all that is good about Irish League football, and in particular the wider Glentoran Community.
We hope that those spectators, lucky enough to get a ticket for the game, will enjoy a competitive match, one played in the tradition of sporting rivalry and sportsmanship.
The 12th man will have a massive role to play on the day.
Please come along and support the players and management staff as you always do……and ensure that everyone, including those watching on television, will witness not only a terrific game but a performance that will showcase The Oval as a welcoming and all-inclusive environment enjoyed by all!
To that end, we would urge everyone to take responsibility for their actions and to refrain from using foul, abusive, sectarian or racist language and not to bring any pyrotechnics to the match. Those who do create issues and cause serious problems for our club. We will have no alternative but to take action against those people for the sake of Glentoran and spectators alike.
